About Dr. Marileee Hanson,
Keeping the practice within the Hanson family, community outreach, and serving patients are three concepts that guide Dr. Marilee Hanson, MD, FACOG. Dr. Hanson continues the family tradition of providing compassionate patient care at her practice, Hanson Clinic, PLC in Minneapolis.
In addition to providing a wide range of gynecologic care in a traditional office setting for women at every stage of life from adolescence to menopause and after, Dr. Hanson also offers a unique concierge medicine program she tailors to each patient’s individual needs. With the increased access to Dr. Hanson that comes with the concierge program, an appointment can take place over the phone or as an in-office consult, as well as by text.
Dr. Hanson began her medical career as an undergraduate at the University of California, Irvine. After graduating magna cum laude, she earned her medical degree from Stanford University Medical School, graduating with honors. She completed an internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco, where she also served as chief resident in OB/GYN.
Dr. Hanson completed clinical apprenticeships in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and menopause medicine in Boston and microsurgery training in San Francisco.
